1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you subscribe to PLACIQ Pro and are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your first payment. No questions asked. No hoops to jump through.
To request a refund within the 7-day window, email us at support@placiq.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your registered email address. We'll process your refund within 2 business days of receiving your request.
2. Eligibility Conditions
The 7-day refund applies when:
- You are a new Pro subscriber making your first payment
- Your request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the payment date
- Your account has not been suspended for violation of our Terms of Service
The refund guarantee does not apply to:
- Renewal payments (monthly or annual renewals after your first billing cycle)
- Accounts that have already received a refund from PLACIQ previously
- Accounts suspended or terminated due to Terms of Service violations
- Enterprise or institutional subscriptions (governed by separate agreements)
3. After the 7-Day Window
After 7 days, subscription payments are non-refundable. However:
- You can cancel anytime from account settings — you'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period
- If you're on an annual plan, cancellation stops future renewals — no partial refund is issued for unused months
- In exceptional circumstances (e.g., accidental double-charge, extended platform outage), contact us and we'll review on a case-by-case basis
4. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed through the payment provider to your original payment method where supported:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5–7 business days
- UPI / Net Banking: 3–5 business days
- Wallets: 1–3 business days
Payment gateway transaction fees, if any, may be non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
5. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank before contacting us, your account will be suspended pending investigation. We strongly encourage you to contact us first — we resolve genuine issues quickly and a chargeback is never necessary for eligible refunds.
